Brian kipp - owner, Stylist, master colorist
Born and raised here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Brian has been sharing his passion for hairstyling for the past 20 years. After attending the University of Iowa for 2 years, he decided to try something new, and attended Capri College in Cedar Rapids.
Truthfully, it was the career center at the U of I that lead him to hairstyling where he found that it was the perfect marriage of the art and science parts of his brain. Now he works hard to make sure each of his clients receive the personal attention needed to make them look and feel their best.
Brian has traveled across the country taking classes with Schwarzkopf color, Bumble and Bumble, Davines, Kevin.Murphy, Mekka system of haircutting, Jacques Dessange, and many more. He has received his Master Colorist certification from Schwarzkopf and is certified in the Keratin Complex hair smoothing system.
In the time he has outside the salon, he serves on the Waypoint board of directors, is involved with the Leadership for Five Seasons program (having graduated in 2019), is an avid golfer, and looks forward to RAGBRAI every summer.. He and his husband enjoy traveling as much as they can, and spending time with their dog, Patsy.

Jaimee Warbasse - stylist, master colorist
Jaimee’s passion for hair began in the 80’s when she was in kindergarten. At the time, her classmates were talking about how one day they’d be the president or an astronaut and she was confident she wanted to be a “hair beautician”. Before becoming a stylist, Jaimee worked in human resources becoming fluent in Spanish.
She graduated from La James College of Hairstyling in 2011 and began an internship at a prominent Aveda salon in Cedar Rapids. She has continued her education by taking classes with master educators Jon Reyman, Ian Michael Black, Alberto Swanson, Wayne Grund, Michelle Senour, Mane Ivy, DomDom. She has been working as an independent stylist since the beginning of 2020.
Honesty is very important to her and that includes behind the chair. Consultations are the cornerstone of every service she does. She will communicate tactfully with you what she thinks about your hair goals and then will collaborate with you to come up with the best possible outcome, while maintaining hair integrity. She is a well rounded stylist but especially specializes in bridal hair, curly hair, and low maintenance/lived in colors such as balayage.

NATalie hall - master Stylist, colorist
Natalie is a native of the community having been raised just outside of Cedar Rapids in Covington, Iowa. She knew from an early age that she was destined for a career in hairstyling.
Having a mother as a hairstylist, Natalie learned early on what it takes to be a dedicated in this profession. With a salon in her home as a child, she’s been able to master the tricks of the trade right from the start. That passion hasn’t stopped growing as she always makes her clients the number one priority. Natalie enjoys the relationships that she’s built with each individual that sits in her chair, and seeing the smiles on their faces when they leave with a look especially created for that client.
While in school at Capri, Natalie consistently sat in the number one chair. She is certified in Babe hair extensions, and specializes in color, men’s haircuts, and wedding styles.
Natalie and her husband Brian enjoy spending time with the kids; Emma, Hailey, and Nathan. They are always finding new adventures to experience together. You can often find her and Brian fishing somewhere in the area in their free time. She also has a passion for bike riding and competing in triathlons.

Heather Shelby - stylist, makeup artist
Heather has been a stylist and make up artist for 21 years now. She was raised here in Cedar Rapids, and attended La James College of Hairstyling. In the spring of 2007, she continued her pursuit of mastering make up artistry by attending the Cosmix School of Makeup Artistry is Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
Growing up, Heather used to accompany her mom to the salon where she admired the confidence and style of the employees. She knew from that point on she wanted a career in hairstyling. She loves staying on trend with fashion, and incorporating that into styling her clients’ hair. Having creative liberty with color and make up keeps her moving forward in this ever-changing industry.
Heather has received her master colorist certification from Schwarzkopf color. She also specializes in airbrush make up, particularly for brides and special occasions. She has training in minor special effects make up as well.
When she’s not busy working behind the chair, Heather enjoys traveling and experiencing new places with her husband, Michael, and stepdaughter, Gladys. She is also an animal lover, and enjoys spending time coming up with creative ways to decorate her home.

Acacia Desutter - Master Stylist, Colorist, extension specialsit
An Iowa native, Acacia tried her hand at a few things before settling on a career as a hairstylist in 2018. Since then, she has dedicated herself to honing her craft. Hard work and an incredible passion have helped her become an expert quickly in this industry.
Acacia has extensive training in hand tied hair extensions. As a specialist in this area, she has also taken additional classes in advanced color and blonding techniques to expertly color match. She has also taken additional hair cutting classes with Wayne Tuggle. Her interest in makeup has given her the opportunity to learn airbrush makeup to complement traditional makeup application giving her to ability to work on set for photoshoots. Acacia also has a wealth of experience with special occasion styling.
She and her husband Zach stay busy outside of work raising two boys. She is also close with her younger siblings and loves to visit family in Tennessee when time permits.
